Finally! I got my blog up and going. Now that the hard part is over, i just have to figure out what to write about.
For those who don’t know i got accepted into the USLS College of Law. To be honest it was lot easier than i expected. Of course the spectre of my grades (bad, bad grades) haunted me. I just told them the truth though.
” I had a lot issues back then. A lot of stuff to deal with.”
We had our first class last night with Atty. Sarmiento, the unproclaimed terror of Law School. He didn’t seem that kind of person though. I mean he really knew what he was talking about (which is rare for a teacher i might add.) I guess he really expects his students to be just smart and study hard, not like some teachers who are hell-bent on flunking you.
My next class is on Friday with somebody i don’t recognize. Law on Natural Resources. It’s with 2nd year students so ordinarily i wouldn’t even think of taking it. All of us newbie freshmen though decided to take it so we can flunk together. Hahaha. No, seriously part of the problem is not belonging to any class so i chose to enroll with them. No support system if you will.
So there is my school in a nutshell. Oh, to everyone who says USLS can’t have a fast enrollment system you haven’t gone through the Law School enrollment process. I finished in three hours! A miracle if you consider it takes an average of 2 days in other Colleges not counting the mistakes they make.
